I'm glad you are here.

I started this blog as an outlet for some writing I've felt I needed to do. 

 

I've spent the last three and half years working with a complex, stage 4 colon cancer. It will show up all feisty. It calms down and retreats. And then it shows up again.

Writing has just felt necessary in this adventure. It's forced me to explore what have felt like some of the most important questions of my life. One of those questions is "what's mine to do?". For now, I think one response to that is to write. And to share that writing, with deep humility, in the event it might offer something of value for someone else.

Lastly, anything shared is just my perspective as it stands in that moment. I know my view is incomplete and is best thrown into a larger mix with a bunch of other perspectives, especially yours. It's all a work in progress, and always will be.
